La Befana é arrivata a Forum Italiano!
This year's children's concert and Christmas festivities focused on la Befana.
a Befana is an old woman who delivers gifts to children throughout Italy on the Eve of the Epiphany (the night of January 5). We were all very excited that La Befana made an early appearance at the forum italiano children's concert. The children recited a poem dedicated to La Befana and sang their favourite song. Finally they read their letters to La Befana in Italian which impressed us all but of all la Befana.
We all then celebrated with pizze and un po' di spumante!
