Congratulazioni
a Natascia e Paolo per la nascita della loro carissima figlia Naomi a febbraio. Congratulations to Natascia and Paolo on the birth of their beautiful daughter Naomi in February. From all of us at Forum Italian we wish them well.

On Sunday 21st March Antonella
assited the Michelin chef Paolo D' Angeli from the Republic of San Marino, as his interpreter, during his cooking demonstration for the Bright and Sandy Food Festival. Over 10,000 people attended and the day was filled with interesting food exhibitions and demonstrations, entertainment as well as fun-filled activities for children. Antonella did an outstanding job and was highly praised for her professionalism by Allan Champion, the host, and the organizers of the Wine and Food Festival. Paolo prepared a Herb Cascione, Cassoncino, Piadina Farcita, Filled Tortelli, Stracotto and a Caciatella. These recipes have been translated into English and will be available soon on our website.

La Mia Umbria
Tour is progressing nicely. Roberta and Laura from Linguapiú are busy preparing language and cultural courses for the group and they, together with our Umbrian friends are looking forward once again to hosting and making new friendships with this year's group. The 2010 Umbrian tour was booked out in February this year and booking are now opened for 2011. Already we have three people confirmed.

On Saturday 27th March, the children of forum italiano completed their first term of Italian by celebrating Easter in the Italian tradition. The children coloured and decorated eggs, made a Colomba (dove) out of paper and participated in an Easter egg hunt. Everyone had a great time! Special thanks to Karen, Ella and Francesca for all their work.

Reminder to students that all classes begin on Monday 19th April.  Children's classes on Saturday 17th April, Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th April and VCE classes on 15th April. Antonella's classes start the week beginning 12th April. Tuesday 6.30 pm post- beginners, Wednesday 9.30 am advanced, Thursday 10.00 am lower intermediate and Friday advanced 10.00am
